This course is designed for students majoring in Screen Studies. It comprises a supervised problem-based research project that will demonstrate integration of learning across the major. It will focus on intensive study of one or more topics in Screen Studies through a combination of application of theoretical frameworks and practical issues concerning cinema, television, social media and streaming platforms.

- evaluate and critically analyse theoretical frameworks and debates concerning the discipline of Screen Studies;
- apply screen studies methodologies in order to analyse transmedia and multi-modal story telling platforms; and
- communicate an understanding of research methods in written, visual, and oral forms.

Workload
