Asian Art In-Country is run as an in-country intensive. Students will spend up to 14 days in an Asian country studying art and culture first hand, visiting historical sites and museums.
Students will only be permitted to travel upon completion of ANU required documentation, including, where required, the travel to a high risk destination form and the approval of all documentation by the relevant delegate.

- Present arguments analysing how art objects relate to their historical and contemporary milieu

Students may enrol in this course more than once. This course is repeatable for credit, up to a maximum of 24 units, and if repeated must be repeated with a different topic each time.Indicative Assessment

Workload
260 hours of total student learning time made up from:a) 90 hours of contact delivered intensively as an in-country field trip of up to 14 days; and
b) 170 hours of independent student research, reading and writing.
