- Demonstrate a knowledge of the major authors, directors, works, and genres in the literature and film of the Asia-Pacific region,
- Speak and write about texture and context with reference to literary and film works of the Asia-Pacific region,
- Identify the cultural, social and historical backgrounds that provide the environment for the development of literature and film across time and space in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Identify and critique the theory and methods of global literary and film studies and demonstrate enhanced capacity to analyse literary texts, films and their contexts
