Students who complete this minor will have core analytical training in econometrics. It provides a foundation for students wishing to specialise in applied economics.
Learning Outcomes
demonstrate core analytical skills in economics;
demonstrate familiarity with estimation and hypothesis testing in linear regression modelling;
demonstrate an understanding of computational, statistical and theoretical tools used for research in macro and financial econometrics; and
formulate relevant methods to estimate causality in economic models.
