Students who complete this minor will have core analytical training in econometrics. It provides a foundation for students wishing to specialise in applied economics.
Learning Outcomes
- demonstrate core analytical skills in economics and econometrics;
- demonstrate familiarity with estimation and hypothesis testing in linear regression modelling;
- demonstrate an understanding of computational, statistical and theoretical tools used for research in various fields of econometrics; and
- formulate relevant methods to estimate causality in economic models.

EMET3008 - Applied Macro and Financial Econometrics (6 units)
EMET2007 should be completed before taking other EMET courses.
