The Digital Transformation specialisation will equip students with a solid foundation of knowledge, skills and application of digital technologies, to transform business models, processes, cultures and organisations. Students will be taught by academics and industry experts from the business information systems discipline, using an evidence-based management (EBM) framework.
Learning Outcomes
- Critically analyse issues relating to the management of information and communication technology (ICT), important ICT infrastructure and systems, ICT strategic planning and the governance of ICT;
- Undertake information systems analysis, including change management and re-engineering of business processes;
- Critique information systems from the executive and operational management perspectives; and
- Investigate how business analytics and business intelligence can be used for improved business decision-making, with consideration for business challenges, uncertainty, relevant stakeholders, and ethical practices.
